When I first started playing snooker, the popular game at the time, billiard rooms were home to people who had, or were chasing, a misspent youth. The rooms where smoke-filled, dimly lit, and up at least one flight of stairs. Today, some 55 years later, the smokes are out, the tables have shrunk, and pool with its international rules is the favourite.

At Bill’s we have tried to recreate the charm of those rooms whilst accommodating the era of pool. Our range of tables includes a few full-sized twelve-foot tables, lots of seven- and eight-foot tables, and even a six-footer. We haven’t gone so far as using red or blue felt, and we won’t. Green is the only right colour.
